Who We Are

Empowering Ability
& Independence

Safe Living Disability Support Services delivers person-centred NDIS supports that build real skills, real confidence, and real independence — across Far North Queensland.

We Don’t Run Day Programs.
We Run Lives Forward.

Safe Living was built for one reason — to give NDIS participants in Far North Queensland access to something truly extraordinary. A private commercial gym. Their own Great Barrier Reef fishing boat. Mini Horses, Mini Goats, Alpacas and Sheep — plus a Yarning Circle and cultural connection on Country. Community gardens, creative arts, music, and island adventures. All of it structured, goal-aligned, and included in your existing NDIS plan. No extra cost. Ever.

Our Vision

To be Far North Queensland's most trusted provider of structured, outcomes-focused disability supports — where every participant feels secure, understood, and supported to grow.

“This isn’t disability support as usual. This is what support looks like when you refuse to settle for ordinary.”
Safe Living Core Belief

This is holistic support — hands-on, purposeful, and built around the whole person. Not just their disability. Their life, their goals, and who they want to become.

Why Participants & Families Choose Safe Living

Different by design.
Not by accident.

We didn't build Safe Living to fit the existing mould of disability support — we built it to redefine it. No other registered NDIS provider in Australia delivers this complete program suite.

Iron Lab Gym
Australia's Only Participant-Exclusive Commercial Gym
Iron Lab is a fully equipped, commercial-grade gymnasium reserved exclusively for Safe Living NQ and DaV'ange Care NQ SIL participants — no public access, no shared space. Structured, purposeful physical activity in a space that belongs entirely to the people we support.
Cultural Connection
Cultural Programs Built Into Our Facility
Safe Living has its own Yarning Circle, fire pit, Kup Murri / Hangi Pit, native gardens, and vegetable crops — all on-site and hands-on. Get your hands in real soil, grow real produce, and connect with Country in a way that is purposeful, grounding, and genuinely therapeutic. First Nations identity, community belonging, and cultural connection woven into real, lived daily experiences.
All Programs Included
All Programs Included — No Extra Costs. Ever.
Every program Safe Living delivers — the gym, reef fishing, cultural experiences, creative arts, and community living — is accessed through a participant's existing NDIS support funding. No additional fees, memberships, or access costs.
Rise and Reel Fishing Boat
Our Own Commercially Surveyed Vessel
Safe Living's own commercially surveyed fishing boat takes participants out onto the Great Barrier Reef. Rise & Reel Connection is reef fishing, cultural connection, and purposeful outdoor activity all in one — a program that exists nowhere else in the NDIS sector.
A New Way of Support
A New Way of Support
Every program ties back to an NDIS goal. Every activity is staffed by trained workers operating under a person-centred framework. This isn't support that fills time — it's support that changes lives.
Consistent Team
Consistent Teams. Real Relationships.
Our team holds a minimum Certificate IV in Disability or Individual Support, trained in Person Centred Active Support and TCI. We have both an Enrolled Nurse and Registered Nurse on team — giving us clinical capability most day providers simply don't have.
